The founders and team began researching acupuncture needle product lines and related applications.

2002

After several years of research, formal production of acupuncture needles began in 2002.

2005

Maanshan Bond Medical Instruments Co., Ltd. was formally established in 2005.

2010

In 2010, the company expanded internationally and established a U.S. operation.

2011

In 2011, the company established a Japan operation to develop the Japanese market.

2012

In 2012, the company's acupotome met production requirements and entered formal production.

2015

In 2015, the company established a Shenzhen operation to develop the South China market.

2016

In 2016, the company registered brands including Lejiu, Xijiu, EAKU, JOCU and ZAGU. According to the published timeline, it also obtained patents and qualifications including GMP, FDA 510(k), CE 0197, Canada CMDCAS, Japan QMS and Australia TGA, while developing an international distributor network.

2017

In 2017, the Lejiu flagship store launched on Tmall to expand e-commerce operations.
